Public Service Club

Public Service Club is a social and sports club on Mara Road in Upperhill, Nairobi, Kenya. The venue combines casual hospitality with recreation, fitness and spaces for gatherings, creating a setting suited to club members, families, diners and organisers planning private or professional functions.

Dining is centred on Chef’s Corner, which offers a broad selection of appetisers, soups and entrées, including seasonal dishes. The club also has a main bar, providing a relaxed place for socialising before or after activities. Its food and hospitality facilities make it suitable for informal meals, family occasions and event catering.

Recreation is a major part of the club’s character. Facilities include a gym, swimming pool, sports ground and track, lawn tennis, squash, sauna and massage services. The pool is intended for both lap swimming and leisure, with a children’s play area adding a family-friendly element. The range of facilities supports both active visits and slower-paced relaxation.

Public Service Club also caters to meetings and celebrations. A conference room and main hall can accommodate presentations, interviews, client pitches, training sessions and other organised occasions. Catering, coffee service, projection equipment and related event services are available for meetings. The grounds can be hired for weddings, parties, family celebrations and graduations, subject to arrangements with the events team.

The setting is practical and sociable rather than formal, with the facilities arranged around food, sport, wellness and community activities. A gym session, swim, game of squash or tennis, meal, meeting or family celebration can all form part of a visit, depending on the purpose of the booking. The combination of indoor halls, hospitality areas, sports facilities and grounds gives the club a flexible role in Upperhill.

Public Service Club is a useful choice for organised groups, families seeking recreational facilities, fitness-focused visitors and anyone looking for a venue for a meeting or function. The club’s programme also includes member-oriented social activities and events, reinforcing its role as a gathering place as well as a sports facility.
