Description

Day 1: Nairobi to Aberdare National Park Depart from Nairobi and travel through the scenic central highlands, with potential stops at coffee and tea plantations. Arrive at your pre-booked lodge. Check in and spend the afternoon relaxing on the balcony which often overlooks a floodlit waterhole that attracts a variety of wildlife like elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards. Enjoy dinner at the lodge as you watch animals gather at the waterhole below. Dinner and overnight at Ark Lodge or similar Day 2: Full-day exploration After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in Aberdare National Park. Explore the park’s unique ecosystems, ranging from the montane forests to the high-altitude moorlands. Look for animals such as black rhinos, lions, spotted hyenas, colobus monkeys, and various species of birds. Have a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park or return to your lodge. Continue your game drive, enjoying the beautiful scenery and spotting more wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and to relax. Day 3: Morning game drive and departure Enjoy an early morning sunrise game drive. Check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to Nairobi.
