Day 1: Flight from Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the Airport to catch your flight to Maasai Mara departing . On arrival at the Maasai Mara our driver guide will pick you up at Maasai Mara Airstrip and will take you to your hotel for check in and lunch. At 4.00 you will start your 2 hours evening game drive in the park looking for the predators coming out of their day slumber to hunt or scavenge along some of the herbivores like the zebras, buffaloes, antelopes among many. At sunset if the clouds are clear don’t forget to capture the amazing sight at 6.00pm. Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.
