Description

Day 1: Mombasa / Diani / Nairobi - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary You will be picked up from your beach hotel in the early morning hours, at around 6:00 am, and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. You will enjoy an amazing drive along the way for about three and a half hours. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, at around 11 am, you will have a 2 hour late morning game drive. At 1:00 pm you shall go for lunch at the Taita Hills Resort. After lunch you will go to Saltlick Lodge, check in and relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the sanctuary until sunset. You come back to the Saltlick Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavel sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you will a panoramic view of the sanctuary; offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife. Day 2: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazzelles, Girrafes and other wildlife until 1:00 pm when you shall go for lunch at the Taita Hills Resort. After lunch you will go to Saltlick Lodge, to relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the sanctuary until sunset. You come back to the Saltlick Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Day 3: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Mombasa / Diani / Nairobi Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazzelles, Girrafes and other wildlife until 10:00 am when You shall leave the sanctuary and start the journey back to Mombasa / Diani / Nairobi. Upon arrival in Mombasa / Diani / Nairobi at around 4:00 pm you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is the end of your safari.
