Description

Day 1: Nairobi → Maasai Mara -Depart Nairobi early, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a photo stop at a viewpoint. Arrive at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch, followed by your first afternoon game drive. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions beginning their evening hunt. Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in the Mara -A full day dedicated to exploring the Mara’s vast savannahs. With picnic lunch in the bush, you’ll search for the Big Five and witness the dramatic predator-prey interactions that make the Mara famous. Optional: Visit a Maasai village in the evening. Day 3: Maasai Mara → Lake Naivasha -After a morning drive, head to the freshwaters of Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride among hippos and waterbirds, followed by a walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can stroll among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes without barriers. Day 4: Lake Naivasha → Amboseli National Park -Journey south toward Amboseli, arriving with time for an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, watch elephants silhouetted against Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Day 5: Amboseli — Full Day -Morning and afternoon game drives reveal Amboseli’s thriving wildlife — from large elephant herds to cheetahs scanning the plains. In between, enjoy lodge relaxation with Kilimanjaro views. Day 6: Amboseli → Tsavo East National Park -Drive to Tsavo East, Kenya’s largest national park. Known for its striking red soil and maneless lions, Tsavo offers a wilder, more rugged safari experience. Afternoon game drive in search of elephants, buffalo, and big cats. Day 7: Tsavo East → Nairobi -Begin with an early game drive, then head back to Nairobi or continue to Mombasa’s coast for a beach extension.
