Description

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, be welcomed by your guide and transferred to Arusha. Enjoy the scenic drive and settle into your lodge in preparation for your safari adventure. Day 2: Cultural Experience – Maasai Visit & Local Lunch in Mto wa Mbu After breakfast, visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditions, dances, and lifestyle. Later, head to Mto wa Mbu for an authentic home-cooked Tanzanian lunch with a local family, offering insight into daily life and cuisine. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour / Transfer to Serengeti Depart early with a packed lunch for a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife haven and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, amid lush crater landscapes. After lunch, drive to Serengeti for an evening game drive en route to your camp. Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive – Central Serengeti Spend the day exploring the vast Central Serengeti, renowned for its high concentration of big cats and diverse wildlife. Encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, leopards, and more across the expansive savannah. Day 5: Game Drive to Serengeti North / Mara River Exploration Enjoy a scenic game drive north toward the Mara River region. En route, witness the diverse wildlife and varied landscapes of Serengeti. After a picnic lunch, explore the Mara River area—where wildebeest and zebras gather in preparation for the dramatic river crossing. Day 6: Full-Day Mara River Crossing Experience Today is dedicated to following the Great Migration along the Mara River. With luck and timing, witness the iconic river crossings—herds plunging into the river, dodging crocodiles and predators. The surrounding area is also rich with big cats, elephants, and birdlife. Day 7: Fly to Arusha / Departure After a final morning game drive en route to Kogatende Airstrip, board your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and day-use at Arusha Coffee Lodge. Later, transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
