Description

Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Nairobi early in the morning. After a brief introduction, you will set off for a 3.5-hour drive to Mount Kenya. Under clear skies, enjoy the views of Mount Kenya as you approach the main entrance to Aberdare National Park. After entering the gate, the game starts immediately. Picturesque scenery, steep forested glens and open moors characterize Aberdare National Park. The park provides habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalo, warthogs and jungle stags, among others. Rare sightings include giant forest pigs, bongos, golden cats, African wild cats, African civets and blue antelopes. Then proceed to the famous Treetop Hotel for lunch. The tree tops are part of nature as there is an old tree in the hotel and the cabins are built around it. It's the perfect blend of nature and comfort, with a rustic look that fits perfectly with Aberdares. Then drive to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
