Description

Depart from your hotel in Kisumu at 8 am. The drive takes 2 hours Arrive at the Crying Stone of Ilesi, located near Mukumu, about 10 km from Kakamega town. At 1 pm you will enjoy a packed lunch after which you will continue to explore the Crying Stone itself. Take photos, learn the local legends surrounding the rock formation, and enjoy the views. You will also go for a short walk through the nearby gardens or a portion of the surrounding forest. Spot local flora and fauna like monkeys and endemic birds.
