Description

Our adventure begins with a 5:30a.m pickup from Nairobi, as we travel through the Great Rift Valley, a natural wonder stretching across the country. The journey will take approximately three to three and half hours, offering captivating views of rolling hills, lush vegetation, and grazing wildlife. Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, prepare to be mesmerized by its breathtaking beauty. It is renowned for its vast flocks of flamingos, especially during the wet season, when the birds feast on the algae in the lake's waters. Beyond flamingos, the park is home to over 400 bird species, making it a dream destination for birdwatchers. It has one of Kenya's most successful conservation areas for both black and white rhinos, where you'll have a great chance to spot these majestic animals. From leopards hiding in acacia trees to herds of antelope grazing near the water, Lake Nakuru's national park offers incredible opportunities for wildlife photography and safari experiences. After a morning of exploring the wonders of Lake Nakuru, enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local lodges overlooking the park. Relish a variety of Kenyan and international dishes while taking in the views of the lake and the surrounding savanna. After lunch we'll head to Lake Naivasha, a one hour drive from Naakuru. It is a freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation and is known for its tranquil beauty and abundance of wildlife. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in an optional one-hour boat ride. Glide over the calm waters of this stunning lake, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of acacia trees and distant hills. During the boat ride, you’ll encounter a wealth of wildlife both on land and in the water. After the boat ride, you can opt for a guided nature walk on Crescent Island or enjoy some time at leisure to take in the beauty of the lake.
