From the breathtaking savannas of the Maasai Mara, where you'll witness incredible wildlife and the annual Great Migration (seasonal), to the stunning landscapes of Lake Nakuru, the misty forests of Aberdare, and the unique terrain of Samburu, this adventure promises a diverse and immersive African experience. Day 1-3: Maasai Mara National Reserve Your adventure begins with a journey to the Maasai Mara, Kenya's most famous wildlife reserve. Over three days, experience exhilarating game drives across the plains, spotting the Big Five (lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos) along with countless other animals like zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. Capture the beauty of the Mara's golden sunsets and immerse yourself in the local Maasai culture through optional village visits. Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park Next, travel to Lake Nakuru, a bird lover’s paradise known for its vast flocks of flamingos that create a pink blanket on the lake. Enjoy a game drive to spot rhinos, hippos, and the elusive Rothschild giraffe against the backdrop of the stunning Rift Valley escarpments. Lake Nakuru is also home to lions and leopards, offering a diverse wildlife experience. Day 5-6: Aberdare National Park Continue to Aberdare National Park, known for its lush forests, scenic waterfalls, and unique mountain landscapes. Here, stay in a lodge overlooking a waterhole, allowing you to watch wildlife up close, especially at night, when animals like elephants and buffalo come to drink. Aberdare is ideal for nature walks and birdwatching, with opportunities to see rare forest species. Day 7: Samburu National Reserve Conclude your safari with two days in Samburu, where the rugged, arid landscape offers a stark contrast to previous destinations. Samburu is famous for its rare northern species, including the Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx.
