The income we generate from the booking helps a local school, Hope and Shine Kibera Centre, which hosts over 40 kids. Tour highlights include: 1. Meeting at Greenhouse mall We meet and welcome all our guests at the Greenhouse mall, Ngong road. Here we brief all visitors on tour plan and expectations. 2. Toi market Toi market is the second largest open air market in Nairobi after Gikomba. Here guests will see the different sections of the market and interact with traders. 3. Crafts Centre See how domestic animal bones are recycled to make jewelry with a mixture of brass. 4. Power women shop Meet women who educate the young girls on HIV/AIDS 5. Home visit. Experience life inside a slum house with a home visit to one of the guide's home. 6. School. This is the last point of the tour before departure at Equity bank Kibera. 7. Equity Bank Kibera.
