Day 01: Nairobi to Masai Mara | Afternoon Game Drive Begin your safari with a scenic drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley to the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by your first afternoon game drive. Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, and more as the sun sets over the vast savannah. Return for dinner and a restful evening in the wild. Day 02: Masai Mara | Full-Day Game Drives & Nature Walk Enjoy a full day immersed in the wildlife-rich plains of Masai Mara. Set out for early morning and afternoon game drives with opportunities to spot the Big Five and witness dramatic predator-prey moments. Midday, enjoy lunch and relaxation at camp. Later, take a guided nature walk with a local Maasai guide to learn about the Mara’s flora, fauna, and traditional bush skills. Overnight at your lodge or camp. Day 03: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru | Morning Maasai Village Visit After an early breakfast, visit a nearby Maasai village for an insightful cultural interaction. Learn about Maasai traditions, family life, and local crafts. Then, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for a late lunch and afternoon game drive. The park is famed for its vast flocks of flamingos, endangered rhinos, and rich birdlife. Enjoy birdwatching around the alkaline lake and spot buffaloes, zebras, and elusive leopards. Day 06: Amboseli | Full-Day Game Drive & Guided Bush Walk Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s iconic landscapes, with game drives offering excellent chances to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and more backdropped by Africa’s highest peak. Later, join a ranger-led bush walk to learn about wildlife tracks, native plants, and the fragile ecosystem. Return to camp for your final dinner in the wild. Day 07: Amboseli to Nairobi | Morning Visit to Big Life Foundation On your final morning, visit the Big Life Foundation to learn about Amboseli’s pioneering community-led conservation efforts. See firsthand how rangers work to protect wildlife and foster peaceful coexistence with local communities. After the visit, begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon for drop-off or onward travel.
