8.30.am You will be picked up by the driver and the tour guide from your preferred residence, hotel/apartment for a drive to the Old Town of Mombasa. 9.30.am We will do the tour of Fort Jesus for an hour then Walk into the Old Town where we will see some of the Old buildings and sites which date from the 16th century and learn about the ancient Swahili culture and their language Kiswahili which is now the national language of Kenya. You will learn about the Old inhabitants of the East African Coast together with the Arab traders. 11.45.am We will be Visiting the Old Marked which is currently the spice and Vegetable Market used by the locals. At the Market you will get to learn about the Swahili cuisine and the spices used in their daily cooking. You will get the chance to buy the Spices, Coffee and Tea for yourself. 12.30.pm We will be walking heading to a Restaurant for your lunch then drive back to your preferred residence passing by the Elephant tusks or the Mama Ngina Water front. End of the tour...!!!
