Description

Embark on a 5-day safari from Nairobi to Amboseli and Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy game drives in search of the Big 5, and see the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli Drive across the Athi plains, home of the proud Masai tribe, to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and the elusive leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at AA Lodge or similar. Day 2: Full Day Amboseli Embark on a full-day game drive at Amboseli Park. See elephants, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and giraffe. Experience the intense beauty and drama that fill each day here. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at AA Lodge or similar. Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park Enjoy a game drive to the secluded heart of big game country. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and lions, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, and then visit a Masai Village. Depart for Tsavo West National Park. After check-in and lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Ngulia Safari Lodge or similar. Day 4: Tsavo West National Park Embark on two game drives. The extensive diverse habitats offer an ideal area to search for the pride of lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffe, zebras, hippos, and wildebeests. The park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats, which include open plains, semi-desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills, and rock outcrops. It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. Other notable features include Mzima Springs, which are a water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow, and Ash cones, which is an example of a recent volcanic eruption. The movie The Ghost and the Darkness was shot here. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Ngulia Safari Lodge or similar. Day 5: Tsavo West to Nairobi After an early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for your return journey to Nairobi. Arrive early afternoon.
