Guided by experts, walk through lush fields of coffee plants at 1,750 meters above sea level. Learn to identify ripe red cherries and understand the cultivation process from flowering to harvest. Witness the transformation of raw cherries at the factory, including pulping, fermentation in tanks, and drying on traditional 'African beds'. Visit the laboratory to see how beans are roasted to specific profiles. You may even have the chance to try roasting your own. The highlight is a professional coffee tasting (cupping) where you sample various roasts and learn to identify the bright acidity and berry notes characteristic of Kenyan coffee.
