Description
Stop at Kongo Mosque, Kwale Kenya where we will meet the guide and walk to the Estuary as we exchange pleasantries and get a short introduction of the trip, then meet the captain and board a traditional canoe.
Sail down Kongo River watching the beautiful sunset leaving the ocean behind and get to experience gorgeous Kongo river estuary, the ever-changing sandy beach and the great waves
The Canoe is powered by human energy (the captain rows) which means no engines and no dirty fumes entering the water
Not only is this trip very relaxing and serene, it carries great history that the captain will explain to you as he rows along the mangrove filled water.
