Description
The rolling grasslands of the Maasai Mara National Reserve provide the setting for one of nature's most dramatic spectacles: the annual migration of a million wildebeest and zebra from Tanzania's Serengeti. Watch, as great herds of elephants, Thompson's gazelles, zebra and eland pass through and graze in these tree-studded grasslands between late July through September. Where there is prey, there are, of course, also predators. So, keep an eye out for lions, leopards and cheetahs who also trek across these plains. And, if you're really lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a rhino. On the first day, you'll transfer from Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving across the Rift Valley and the Loita Plains. After a lunch stop, you'll go on your first game viewing drive, and later, head back to the camp for dinner. You'll spend the whole second day at the Reserve, with early morning and afternoon game viewing drives. On the final day, you'll head back to Nairobi after breakfast.Includes
