Description

After pickup from your hotel, travel to the northern coast of Zanzibar to visit this natural lagoon, where rescued sea turtles live in clear turquoise water. On arrival, your guide will introduce you to the sanctuary and explain the conservation work being done to protect the turtles. You will then have the chance to enter the water and swim alongside the turtles in a calm and safe environment. The turtles are used to people and often swim close by, making this a unique opportunity to see them up close. You can also feed the turtles under the supervision of your guide and take photos during the experience. After spending time in the water, relax around the lagoon and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before returning to your hotel.
