6:00 AM: PICK UP FROM HOTEL/ RESIDENCE
Your journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel, residence, or the airport in Nairobi. As you drive toward Nairobi National Park, our guide will brief you on the day’s program and share insights about Kenya’s wildlife heritage. The 4x4 Tour Van offers elevated seating, large windows, and a pop-up roof hatch, ensuring everyone enjoys uninterrupted views and excellent photography opportunities.
6:30 AM - 10:45 AM: NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
Once inside Nairobi National Park, you’ll immediately notice the unique contrast of untamed wilderness set against the distant city skyline. Despite its proximity to the capital, the park boasts vast open plains, acacia bushland, riverine forests, and seasonal wetlands. During our private game drive, you may encounter lions resting in the grass, rhinos grazing peacefully, herds of buffalo, graceful giraffes, zebras, impalas, and possibly elusive cheetahs or hyenas. Over 400 bird species also inhabit the park, making it a paradise for bird lovers. 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM: DAVID SHELDRICK ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE
After your morning Game Drive is a visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, world-renowned for rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants. During the public visiting hour, you will watch the baby elephants joyfully run toward their keepers for feeding time. Listen as the caretakers share touching rescue stories and explain the rehabilitation process that eventually returns these elephants to protected areas in the wild.
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: LOCAL CRAFT MARKET
Explore city Market for Local Crafts, Spices and Souvenirs in the heart of Nairobi.
2:00 PM - 2:30 PM: GIRAFFE CENTRE
Continue to the Giraffe Centre, home to the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Here, you’ll step onto a raised viewing platform where you can feed the giraffes by hand and even capture memorable photos as they gently reach out for treats. The center also provides educational information about giraffe conservation efforts in Kenya and across Africa.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: LUNCH AT CARNIVORE RESTRAUNT.
Dive into the Kenyan Cuisine in a lively feast of charcoal grilled meats served table side with fresh sides, rich sauces and vibrant garden atmosphere.
