Description

Most visitors to Mombasa never leave the beach. This is where you go instead.

This isn't a cultural show built for tourists. It's the actual village your guide, Rico, grew up in, real homesteads, real elders, and a community that comes together specifically for your visit.

A School Visit That Stays With You (Weekdays Only)

Walk through classrooms, meet teachers, and share a moment with kids genuinely curious about life beyond Kenya. Small gifts (pens, sweets) are welcome but never required.

A Real Mijikenda Village, Not a Reconstruction

When you arrive, 5 to 10 community members, drummers, dancers, elders, hosts, have gathered specifically for your group. The village fee goes directly to them, not to a company or a platform.

Join the Rhythm

When the drums start, you're not watching from a distance, you're invited in. Nobody's judging your moves.

Taste the Coast

Fresh coconut water straight from the tree, and if you're curious, a taste of traditional palm wine, sweet or dry.

End the Day at Nguuni Wildlife Sanctuary

Giraffes, zebras, ostriches and antelope roam freely, no fences. After the energy of the village, it's a calm, unhurried close to the day.
