Description
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Nairobi. Travel to Lake Naivasha, passing scenic viewpoints in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the lake and take a short boat ride to Crescent Island. Along the way, enjoy views of the lake, birdlife, and resident hippos.
Once on the island, explore on foot with a knowledgeable guide. Walk safely among free-roaming animals such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles, and learn about the island’s ecosystem and conservation efforts.
After the walking safari, return by boat to the mainland and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon.
