Description

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Nairobi and head to Hell’s Gate National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive with a stop to admire the breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, begin a 2-hour guided bike tour through the park. Keep an eye out for herds of Thomson’s gazelle, eland, zebra, and hartebeest as you ride. Look to the sky to spot some of the park’s 100 bird species, including Verreaux’s eagles, augur buzzards, vultures, and swifts. Next, embark on a walking safari through the park’s distinctive gorges, where narrow passageways and caves are sunk into sedimentary rock. Afterward, break for lunch at Sopa Lodge Naivash take a 1-hour boat tour on Lake Naivasha. Spot hippos that linger just at the surface of the water, and see some of the diverse birdlife, including African fish eagles, lesser flamingos, African spoonbills, and little grebes. At 3:00 PM, begin the return trip to Nairobi and finish the day with drop-off at your hotel.
