Description
Start by completing a short digital learning module and listening to a safety briefing. You’ll then head to a pool where an instructor introduces you to breathing underwater and basic buoyancy. Once comfortable, board the dive boat and cruise out to Diani’s colourful reefs. Over two dives (up to 12 m deep) you’ll practise equalisation, finning and buoyancy control while watching reef fish and perhaps a turtle. Your instructor will be by your side at all times. The second dive allows you to build confidence and enjoy the feeling of weightlessness as you explore coral gardens . At the end of the trip your instructor debriefs you and explains how this experience credits towards certification courses.
