Description

Begin your day early and aim to get into the park at 7:00 AM through the main gate or Lanet Gate. Animals are usually at their highest activity at this time. Start by having your morning game drive towards the lake and surrounding grasslands where you can usually sight rhinos, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and flocks of flamingos by the shores depending on the season. Stop by the Baboon Cliff for breathtaking views of the lake and the entire park from above. Take some photos and stretch your legs. By mid-morning, keep driving into the interior of the park heading towards Makalia Falls. This is an amazing serene spot, especially during the rainy season. For lunch, have your meal(Optional) at any of the lodges, such as Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge Restaurant or Lake Nakuru Lodge Restaurant, or enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic spot. By the afternoon, have another game drive into the park. Explore different habitats like the euphorbia forest and open grassland for sightings of giraffes and possibly lions. Stop by the Lion Hill for another scenic view, then keep heading towards the exit slowly.
