Description
Day 1:PICK UP To SALTLICK
You will be picked up from your beach hotel/apartment in Mombasa/Diani/Kilifi/Watamu/Malindi in the early morning hours and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. You will enjoy an amazing game drive along the way. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Resort, you will have lunch, relax for a while and then head out for a game drive in the sanctuary searching for lion and other wildlife, until sunset.
You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge or Taita hills wildlife resort if we miss availability. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavel sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you will a panoramic view of the sanctuary; offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife..
Upon early request at an extra entry fee cost only, we are happy to pick you slightly earlier on this day and pass through tsavo east for an enroute game drive with lunch in Sentrim Tsavo east then later depart for arrival and check in at Saltlick around 14:30hrs

DAY 2:SALTLICK TO DROP OFF
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for an extended game drive. Around mid-morning you will depart for drop off, taking part in a mini game drive and lunch along the way at a transit stop. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your beach hotel/residence/villa in the afternoon. This is where your safari will end.
