Description

Day 1: Malaba Border - Jinja (Source of the Nile) Begin with a warm welcome at the Malaba border. Enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda’s lush countryside en route to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa. Visit the Source of the Nile, where the mighty river begins its journey to Egypt. Optional activities include a boat cruise, white-water rafting, or a city tour of Jinja. Overnight: Jinja Nile Resort. Day 2: Jinja - Bwindi via Kisoro Depart early for a full-day drive through Mbarara, Kabale, and the highlands of Kisoro, offering breathtaking views of rolling hills and terraced farmlands. Arrive in the evening at the foothills of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to Uganda’s mountain gorillas. Overnight: Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi - Lake Bunyonyi After an early breakfast, head to the Bwindi National Park headquarters for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. Hike through misty forests to meet a family of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, an encounter that leaves lasting memories. In the afternoon, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s most beautiful lake, known for its scenic islands and tranquility. Overnight: Lake Bunyonyi Overland Resort. Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe Enjoy a relaxed morning by the lake before embarking on a scenic return journey to Entebbe.
