Day 1: From Nairobi To Samburu National Reserve Be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi and depart for Samburu National Reserve. Stop en route to view Mount Kenya with its snow-capped peaks. Arrive at the Samburu Simba Lodge just in time for check-in and lunch. Embark on your first game drive in the afternoon with a chance to spot the Grevy zebras, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich, elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2: A full day at Samburu National Reserve Enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, have a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes. Spend the day viewing wildlife. Possible sightings of unique wildlife species like oryx, gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and other wild animals peculiar to this semi-arid region.
