Description

On this all-inclusive guided tour of Nairobi wildlife, it's as easy as possible to experience and enjoy Kenya’s famous animals, without leaving the city. an expert guide takes you directly to the elephant-rhino orphanage and the giraffe center to learn about elephants & giraffes from trained staff working to conserve and protect these animals in the wild. free complimentary tour to the beads women factory will enrich your experience. Start-off by exploring the giraffe center. home to the highly endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, get to enjoy by observing & handfeeding from a raised wooden structure, which is quite an experience. you may also spot warthogs snuffling about in the mud, and there’s an interesting self-guided forest walk through the adjacent Gogo River Bird Sanctuary. learn the work done by African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW), since 1979 when there were no more than 120 Rothschild’s giraffes in the wild. our accredited guide will then take you to the elephant orphanage. enjoy this guided session with experienced guides & keepers from this sanctuary which takes place between 11 am to 12 noon daily, learning the efforts made by this sanctuary in elephant conservation in Kenya. nonetheless, get to enjoy the view of these baby elephants, & make great memories as you engage in photography. during this visit you also get to witness them having their bottle of milk as they relax & play engaging in sandbathes & a cool of mud bath in the heat of the day. you also have an opportunity to adopt & sponsor any of the orphaned baby elephants of your choice during this visit. Our next stop at will, will be to explore kobe beads women factory. this is a pottery company that makes one of the world most beautiful beads. experience all the stages from the start to the finish of the bead making process. it’s a special factory as it employs single mother parents from the poor neighborhood who earn a living to support their families. It's a women empowerment center for the community. you then have the option of being driven to lunch, to explore Kenyan local foods at a local restaurant and then later be dropped at the hotel.
