7:30 am Pick up in Nyahururu (hotel or town meeting point). 08:00 am Arrive in Rumuruti. Short briefing on market etiquette (stay with your guide, ask before photos). 08:00–11:00 Walk through the pens. See cattle, goats, and sheep arriving. Meet herders from pastoralist communities. 11:15–12:15 Nyamachoma lunch in town (grilled goat or beef with kachumbari and ugali). 12:30 Depart Rumuruti for Nyahururu. 13:00 Drop off in Nyahururu. Good to know • Runs Thursdays only. Best time in market is 6:00–9:00 in the morning. • What to bring: comfortable closed shoes, sun hat, light jacket, small cash for snacks or tips.
