Description
Start your day of adventure at your accommodation in Nairobi. After a short meet and greet with your friendly and professional driver, you will set-off for Crescent Island, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint along the way for some amazing holiday pictures. Here, a speedboat will be waiting for you to ferry you to the Island. Along the way, you will be able to witness thousands of Birds, animals grazing by the banks of the lake and the snoring heads of huge hippopotamus. You will be accompanied for the duration of this trip with a knowledgeable guide who will you lead you through the vegetation. After your 30-minute animal watching spectacle, you will arrive at the island and enjoy a welcoming from your friendly guides. You will be lead through the island and shown an abundance of animals and vegetation. From the top of the hill, there is a 360-degree view across the Lake from Longonot to Hell’s Gate to the Mau Escarpement to Eburu and onto the Aberdares. This location boasts more animals per acre than any other Kenyan Park. The park is not fenced to allow the wildlife on the mainland to come in as they lose their habitat to development and the ever-increasing population. Throughout your day, you will be able to spot hippo grazing and sleeping, giraffes and their young ones, Hyena that appear at night to hunt, many Pythons, and groups of Buffalo. You will also get a chance to stop and enjoy lunch with amazing views in the park. After spending some time on the island, your boat will pick you up once again and take you back to the mainland, setting off for Nairobi with lots of memories.Includes
