Investigate the giraffe center first. home to the critically endangered Rothschild's giraffe, which you can see and feed with your hands from an elevated wooden structure. It's an amazing experience. Along with the possibility of seeing warthogs scuttling through the mud, the nearby Gogo River Bird Sanctuary offers an intriguing self-guided forest walk. Discover the efforts undertaken by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW), which was founded in 1979 when there were just 120 Rothschild's giraffes remaining in the wild.
