You are taken directly to the giraffe center and elephant orphanage by a knowledgeable guide, where you can learn about elephants and giraffes from professionals who are dedicated to preserving and safeguarding these wild creatures. Investigate the giraffe center first. home to the critically endangered Rothschild's giraffe, which you can see and feed with your hands from an elevated wooden structure. It's an amazing experience. Along with the possibility of seeing warthogs scuttling through the mud, the nearby Gogo River Bird Sanctuary offers an intriguing self-guided forest walk. Discover the efforts undertaken by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW), which was founded in 1979 when there were just 120 Rothschild's giraffes remaining in the wild. After that, you will be taken to the elephant orphanage by our certified guide. Enjoy this daily guided session from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with knowledgeable guides and keepers from the sanctuary, where you can learn about the efforts being made to conserve elephants in Kenya. Nevertheless, take in the sight of these young elephants and capture wonderful moments while taking pictures. During this visit, you will also be able to see them enjoying their milk bottle while they play, unwind, and take cool mud baths during the hot day. During your visit, you will also have the chance to sponsor and adopt any of the orphaned baby elephants that catch your eye. Our next destination at will be to tour the Kobe Women's Bead Factory. This pottery company creates some of the most exquisite beads on the planet. Experience the entire process of creating beads, from the beginning to the end. This particular factory is unique in that it employs low-income single mothers who work to support their families. It is a community center dedicated to women's empowerment. After that, you can choose to be driven to a nearby restaurant for lunch to sample some of the local cuisine from Kenya. Following a delectable African lunch, we will move on to the last and second part of our cultural tour. Discover Kenya's rich cultural legacy. Enjoy traditional folklore dances that showcase the rich cultures of 53 different ethnic communities in Kenya. Discover the customs and culture through an educational session as we tour and explore the various homesteads so you can experience the true nature of our people. The primary goals of the center are to protect, uphold, and advance the richly varied cultural values of all ethnic groups. A variety of fifteen traditional dances from various ethnic communities are performed every day; the Samburu and Maasai warriors are among the most amazing acts.
