Description
The event begins at 6 am in the morning, with a brief overview of Mt Kilimanjaro National park, & relations between Kenya & Tanzania. We will proceed from Nairobi city centre, and use public shuttle vans plying the Kenya-Tanzania border, this will be a 3.5 hrs journey to the border (bus prices are included for a maximum of 2 persons) for a big group (from 3 persons) private tour/shuttle vans can be organised at your request. We will pass via Amboseli national parks where you will get a glimpse of the park and the maasai community enroute this journey.After arrival at the Kenya-Tanzania border we will pass through immigration, this will be quick clearance as we will only take a few hours in Tanzania and exit back to kenya. Due to integration of the East African community there is ease of of movement of people & trade. We will proceed to the locality. Around 20 minutes from the border. All this while you will see the border town of Tanzania namely Tarakea. At arrival we will commence our Hike on foot it will take around 1 hr to get to rongai gate where there will be further mountain activities (offered by the Tanzanian authorities at a small fee). You will learn more about Kilimanjaro and hike process upto the summit. After 1 more hour we will climb down and proceed for lunch at one of the finest Tanzanian restuarants, thereafter we will board our public/private van back to Nairobi.Includes
