Description

You can visit a Maasai village to see their traditional life. Photography is allowed in this tour. Visiting a Maasai village is a great way to learn about the culture of the Maasai. Probably the most famous of tribes, who still lives their lives like our grand-grand-grand-grand-fathers. Recognisable from their beautiful red costumes and shoes from tires A Maasai guide at the village will escort and explain to you in English about their lives and daily Habits. You can ask any questions. If lucky you will be shown the traditional way of making a fire. You will also be allowed to enter their houses and also see where they keep their livestock It takes about 2 hours including the return transfers by us.» Duration: approx.2hours, starting at 10:00 AM- we are free to take you to the village at any time on the day of the Booking. A Maasai lady will give you a lecture on how to make a beaded bracelet. It will be one of your souvenirs once completed. The lecture takes about 3 hours.

• We will pick you up at the Lodge or camp. We will either walk or drive to the maasai village according to the distance. We are able to do it any time of the day on the day of the booking- Just let us know. Either morning or evening. We visit an authenthic maasai village- where they actually live there and not a touristic place for a show. We will enter the huts to see where they sleep. Photography is allowed and they dont feel offended. We can cordinate with your safari driver on the visit times- Not to conflict with your guides game drive schedules. Our Line is open 24 Hours after you book and you can call, text or whatsapp us any time. The price included a small polite donation to the village. You can still bring books and stationery and sweets as gifts to the kids in the village.
