Description

Itinerary DAY 1. You will be picked up from your residence at 05:00 and driven to Tsavo East National Park, where you will arrive at 08:00 for a morning game viewing drives until lunchtime at Voi Safari Lodge at 13:00. There will be a stopover before entering the park for refreshments, including tea or coffee and a fresh meal to satisfy your hunger after the early morning wake-up. In the afternoon, starting at 15:30, you will embark on game viewing drives en route to Tsavo West National Park, exiting Tsavo East National Park through Manyani Gate. Proceeding on the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway, you will reach Tsavo River Gate to enter Tsavo West National Park for further game viewing drives. Your journey will take you to Ngulia Safari Lodge, where you will arrive in time for refreshments at 18:30, followed by dinner at 19:30. Overnight stay will be at the Ngulia Safari lodge. DAY 2. BACK TO KENYA COAST You would wake up for tea or coffee and a snack at 06:00. Then, at 06:30, depart early in the morning for a game-viewing drive until time for a full breakfast at 08:00 in the lodge. After that, another game-viewing session from 10:00, touring the Nzima Springs, resident animals and other natural physical features, before returning to the lodge for a sumptuous lunch at 13:00. The Mzima springs originates from the Chylus hillls which are composed of the various volcanic lava rocks, the springs are home of large schools of hippos and crocodiles, the source of springs which is the Chyulu Hills to the North, the Chyulu range is composed of volcanic lava and ash which is too porous to allow rivers flow. Instead rain water percolates through the rock, and may spend 25 years underground before 50 emerging 50 kilometres away at Mzima. The natural filtration process gives rise to Mzima’s famously clear stream, which flows through series of pools and rapids, two kilometres downstream from the springs, the stream is blocked by solidified lava flow and disappears below the surface again. Thereafter you will have game viewing drive to Kenya coast exiting the park through Tsavo River Gate the take Nairobi Mombasa Road to arrive time in your hotel in the evening at around 18:00.
